Welcome to Malabar Radio Society

Malabar Amateur Radio Society 8T4I special call sign

Malabar Amateur Radio Society (MARS) was established in 2011 by a passionate group of Amateur Radio Operators (Hams) from the vibrant state of Kerala.

As a registered non-profit public service organization, MARS is committed to various facets of Amateur Radio, including emergency communications, public service, and the promotion of this exciting hobby.  Furthermore, MARS actively engages in the licensing of new Amateur Radio operators, playing a pivotal role in expanding the community.  Throughout the year, MARS conducts guidance classes to prepare aspiring individuals for their Amateur Radio license exams, contributing to the growth of the amateur radio community.  The society actively participates in various Amateur Radio events such as Field Day, Fox Hunt, JOTA-JOTI, and more, fostering a spirit of camaraderie among operators. In a dedicated effort to enhance the landscape of Amateur Radio support activities, MARS focuses on educational and promotional advancements.  This commitment includes providing training, licensing assistance, technical support, and organizing field day programs, all aimed at the continual development and enrichment of Amateur Radio services.
