Who We Are

Malabar Amateur Radio Society (MARS) Promoted By A Group Of Amateur Radio Operators (Hams) From Kerala State.

The MARS is a registered non-profit public service organization. MARS dedicated to emergency communications, public service, promotion of Amateur Radio, and the licensing of new Amateur Radio operators. MARS came into existence in 2011.

We participate in several Amateur Radio events like Field Day, Fox Hunt, JOTA-JOTI and so many more events. MARS conducts guidance classes through out the year to prepare perspective Amateur Radio operators for their Amateur Radio license exam.

We are dedicated to provide educational and promotional advancement of Amateur Radio services in terms of  training, licensing, technical support and field day programs.

Our Objectives

  • Promoting and enriching the amateur radio services in the community
  • Provide training in basic electronics and radio theory to interested individuals
  • To be prepared, when the need arises, to assist with the supply of Amateur emergency communications to organizations requesting such assistance.
  • To promote social aspects of the Club - i.e., the eyeball QSO, Field Day, fox hunts, social activities which may arise
  • To own, operate and maintain repeaters for the use of the Amateur Radio Community.
