Radio amateurs from across India and abroad will gather in Hyderabad this December for the ninth edition of the Lamakaan Annual Radio Convention (LARC-9).
About the convention
LARC-9 is organised by the Lamakaan Amateur Radio Club (LARC) together with the Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering, Muffakham Jah College of Engineering and Technology. Held every year on the second Saturday and Sunday of December, the convention gives radio amateurs a platform to show their experiments with newer radio techniques and wireless technologies, and with building radios and antennas. In the organisers’ words, it is an event “of the hams, by the hams and for the hams”, with workshops and new radio technologies on show.
Registration
Registration is compulsory for everyone who wishes to attend, and is done through the event website. Members planning to attend are encouraged to register early.
The Malabar Amateur Radio Society encourages our members to take part and represent MARS at LARC-9. See you in Hyderabad!
